This FBI Detroit file (100-DE-26505) dates from November 1957. (As context not stated in the file: that was days after the Levelland, Texas reports of engines stalling near a light.) A man named Krasuski said that in 1944, as a Polish prisoner of war working on the estate of Gut Alt Golssen about 30 miles east of Berlin, his tractor stalled and he heard a high-pitched whine. An SS guard was present. Inside an enclosure with a tarpaulin wall about 50 ft high, he saw a circular craft 75 to 100 yards across and about 14 ft high rise vertically. Its edge was a continuous blur like an aircraft propeller, and his tractor stalled again. He mentioned copper-like cables, a work crew of 16 to 18, and a fellow prisoner, Franciszek Grabowski. The agent who interviewed him recorded no sign of irrational or abnormal behaviour. The file also holds a November 1957 teletype, correspondence with Robert Cutler about a "rocket in Texas", and a 1966 letter from Oklahoma. The FBI drew no conclusion. *Method note: war.gov blocks this server. The 15-page file was read from the original PDF on the ufotransparency.com mirror. It has no usable text layer: page 10 was read from its page image, and the other pages cited here come from the mirror's page-by-page transcription, which was spot-checked against the images where noted.*
