Biondi et al., SAR micro-motion modal analysis of the Mosul Dam (IEEE JSTARS, 2020)

The validated root of Biondi's method: a 2020 peer-reviewed study that measured surface vibrations of the Mosul Dam from satellite radar and checked them against GNSS stations. It measures a surface's vibration, not what lies underground.
