The 'Lima-9' security report, Ellsworth AFB (Nov 1977)

A purported 44th Missile Security Squadron report of an incident at launch facility Lima-9 on 16 November 1977, naming A1C Kenneth Jenkins and Wayne E. Raeke. It was mailed anonymously to the National Enquirer in February 1978, and the Enquirer suspected a hoax. Jesse Michels argues that Richard Doty produced it to stigmatise the real Woods and Johnson encounter in advance; that is his claim, built on Woods' statement that Doty was at his debrief.
