Reality Check Rewind: Nightcrawler Research's 'UFO motherload' off Long Island

Ross Coulthart interviews twin electrical engineers John and Gerald Tedesco and journalist Donna Lee Nardo about their ten-month field study of 2022 to July 2023 at Robert Moses State Park, Long Island, published in the Open Journal of Applied Sciences and in the book Night Crawler: Eye on the Sky. From a converted RV in a Faraday cage with two marine radars, hyperspectral, SWIR, infrared and night-vision cameras, lidar, acoustics and ADS-B, they report about 50 clips they could not explain. They describe the night of 28 August 2022, when an object came in toward the beach, both brothers collapsed in turn and could not use their legs for under a minute, and cameras and Nardo's goggles failed. Coulthart says his FBI sources confirm close interest.

Notes

  • From the daily YouTube watch, 4 Nov 2026 (backlog 31 Oct to 3 Nov). A Rewind repost; Coulthart says the paper came out in 'August this year', so the first broadcast was probably in 2025.
  • Captions render Nardo as 'Nato'. The brothers and Nardo are private individuals and have no records.
