Nuclear weapons and nuclear propulsion
Building and maintaining nuclear weapons, and using fission to push rockets. Several names sit around the weapons complex (LANL, KCNSC), and Joshua LeBlanc worked on NASA's nuclear thermal rocket before dying in 2025. Igor's list calls Steven Garcia a nuclear-propulsion engineer, which the record does not support. Believers point to real precedent: Iranian nuclear scientists were assassinated.
On the record
- LANL's N-Division designed Kiwi, Phoebus and Pewee reactors under Project Rover.
- DRACO was put on hold in Jan 2025 and cancelled in the FY2026 budget.
- First war-reserve W87-1 pit stamped at LANL on 1 Oct 2024.
- Garcia was a KCNSC property custodian, not a LANL nuclear engineer.
- Iranian nuclear scientists were killed in a string of attacks from 2010.
