A 3rd Special Operations Squadron ISR aircraft flying from Al Minhad (OMAM) for Operation Enduring Sentinel was returning to base at 23,999 ft. At 0457Z on 7 June 2024 the crew observed a "glowing hot spherical" object with an unwavering vertical cylindrical pole or bar beneath it. It flew straight, just above the water, at about 140 knots. The crew themselves suggested the pole was possibly a reflection of the object in the water. The accompanying 21-second infrared video, DOW-UAP-PR29, is officially described as an inverted teardrop with a vertically linear trailing mass held near centre frame. PR29's description cites the mission report as "DoW-UAP-D8" and the submitting command as U.S. Northern Command. Both look inconsistent with D27 (a CENTCOM report). war.gov also titles D27 "United Arab Emirates, October 2023", which does not match the 7 June 2024 date inside it. *Method note: war.gov blocks this server. Each mission report was read from the original PDF served by the ufotransparency.com mirror. Quotations come from the PDF text layer and were checked against the page images where the scan is poor. Redactions are shown as [redacted]. Field names such as "Observer Assessment of UAP" are the form's own labels. PR29 is a video; it was not viewed, and its content comes from the official description reproduced by the mirror.*

Plausibility weighs how well an account fits where secrecy hides the documents by design, so missing records never count against it. Strength measures what is documented. Assessed 2026-10-23.
