This is a mission report (MISREP 4592219) from the 482nd Attack Squadron. The aircraft took off from OKAS at 0337Z on 8 August 2020 and flew ISR over the Persian Gulf from 0513Z. At 0726Z the crew observed one UAP, which the full-motion video recorded as "TRANSITTING". The report says there was no impact on the mission, and the weather was not a factor in the observation. Later in the mission, at 1250Z, the aircraft received a guard call from Iranian air defence. Dense cloud intermittently affected the video. The report gives no description of the object. A Release 02 video, DOW-UAP-PR092, is titled "08 AUG 2020 ... UAP observation", but the release does not tie it to this report. *Method note: war.gov blocks this server. This mission report was read from the original PDF served by the ufotransparency.com mirror. Plausibility weighs how well an account fits where secrecy hides the documents by design, so missing records never count against it. Strength measures what is documented. Assessed 2026-10-23.
