The Department of War's PURSUE disclosure waiver (14 Sept 2026)
On 14 September 2026 the Department of War announced a legal waiver letting current and former civilian staff, service members and contractors tell the PURSUE team what they know about UAP without breaching their non-disclosure and special-access agreements. It lifts only the civil and administrative enforcement provisions, applies only to disclosures to PURSUE, and its text has not been published. It follows ODNI's July NDA guidance and the president's NDA direction.
