Manhattan Project physicist (Project Alberta) and Stanford Research Institute scientist who directed a military effects group at the 1953 Upshot-Knothole tests and ran AFSWP special weapons programs, later a senior TRW executive. Arthur Stansel, writing as Fritz Werner, says Doll phoned him on 20 May 1953 for the 'special job' that became the Kingman recovery, and UAP Gerb sees him as the man who coordinated it.
