On 20 April 2009 a nurse driving near Dardanelle and Mount Nebo, Arkansas, by the Arkansas Nuclear One power lines, saw a dark triangle the size of a B-1 bomber with rotating metallic-blue lights come within about 100 feet. Her car vibrated, the dash and headlights dimmed, and her charged phone died; investigators found the "battery's internal fuse was blown... usually the result of a high voltage insult". After a camera-like flash it was gone, and she was hoarse and ill afterwards. The MUFON investigators working for BAASS concluded "this was a real event", "definitely unknown and does not appear to be a military craft".
