On 7 May 2009 two 18-year-olds near NAS Fallon, Nevada, saw three boomerang-shaped objects, one of which paced their truck, and lost about an hour and twenty minutes. Investigators found UV-fluorescent marks on the young man's arm. Afterwards military helicopters, black SUVs and troops on foot searched the area, and NAS Fallon Public Affairs confirmed an "unspecified aircraft incident". The MUFON investigator, writing for BAASS in its June 2009 report to DIA, suggested this "may be the new code words used by our military in place of UFO".
