Graham Hancock
British writer, born in Edinburgh in 1950, formerly East Africa correspondent for The Economist. Since The Sign and the Seal (1992) and Fingerprints of the Gods (1995) he has argued that human history is missing a chapter: an advanced civilization of the last Ice Age, destroyed by a cosmic catastrophe about 12,800 years ago. In The Mars Mystery (1998) he brought the Face and pyramids of Cydonia into the same story. His Netflix series Ancient Apocalypse made him a household name.
