AMC Opinion Concerning 'Flying Discs' (Twining memo, 23 September 1947)
The 23 September 1947 Air Materiel Command memo, signed by Lt. Gen. Nathan Twining, which judged that the flying-disc reports described 'something real and not visionary or fictitious' and led to Project Sign. Release 07 contains it as the first exhibit of the plan BAASS gave the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2008, which shows the program used it as a founding text.
