"US Special Forces Confession - I Recovered Crashed UFOs": Fact or Fiction?
Gerb checks, line by line, an anonymous former soldier featured by The Infographics Show in March 2024. The witness says his Vietnam reconnaissance team found a crashed egg-shaped craft in 1968, was forced into a recovery program and served in it for about 35 years. Gerb places the crash with Company E, 52nd Infantry, in late 1968 and finds nothing in the records that contradicts the unit, area, dates or casualty pattern. Everything the witness says stays anonymous, since a third party edited it.
On the record
- The Infographics Show video (March 2024) and its stated basis in interviews and correspondence.
- Operation Menu's start on 18 March 1969.
Open questions
- Who the witness is; Gerb tested one candidate and judged the match weak, so no name is recorded.
- The 'witness TB' and 'MS' references point to an earlier video not in the transcript library (probably UFO Whistleblowers vol. 3, June 2024).
Leads to follow
- Infographics Show witness: Co. E, 52nd Infantry LRRP, October-December 1968; verify through the unit casualty list (also for leads.md).
- Pozo Almonte, Chile, 1978 (Bob Pratt's files): a lead case, no record yet.
- Argentina, 3 October 1980, the four burned circles investigated by Capt. Carlos Lima: a lead case, no record yet.
- The May 1996 Irish lake event: a lead case, no record yet.
- The 1977 NASA letter and the 'UFO HEAP' memo in the NASA FOIA release.

In late 1968 his long-range reconnaissance patrol, marking B-52 targets, saw a red-orange 'melting' object pass over and crash; they found an egg-shaped, dull grey, seamless craft cracked open, while F-4s orbited and people already 'read in' removed it over two days.Anonymous and edited by a third party.anonymousanonymous former soldieranonymous witness → The Infographics Show (2024) → told it
'The program' was formalised during the Korean War, with several rapid-reaction units in theatre; joining was forced, and five of the original 12 later died in combat: 'I think they were trying to kill us off.'anonymousanonymous former soldieranonymous witness → The Infographics Show (2024) → told it
About three craft were pulled out of the Vietnam theatre, and one recovery 'damn near started a war with China'; ocean recoveries are nearly impossible and Europe is a hotspot.anonymousanonymous former soldieranonymous witness → The Infographics Show (2024) → told it
Wright-Patterson is a red herring ('we faked some stuff going into Wright-Patterson'); co-op sites ran with Raytheon, Boeing and Texas Instruments, and small contractors got pieces without provenance.anonymousanonymous former soldieranonymous witness → The Infographics Show (2024) → told itWright-Patterson AFB & 'Hangar 18'Raytheon (RTX)
Eggs and bells crash most and are probably unmanned drones; saucers are the 'crown jewels', of which he recovered two, one piece 'put together at an atomic level' with an entrance invisible until it opens.anonymousanonymous former soldieranonymous witness → The Infographics Show (2024) → told it
At a UK-area recovery during a meteor event two of five crew survived for a few days; the protocol was never to point a weapon at a being, and a lead doctor called 'the Ambassador' spoke English, Chinese, Spanish and Russian.Gerb suggests a May 1996 lake event in Ireland.anonymousanonymous former soldieranonymous witness → The Infographics Show (2024) → told it
The program thinks the craft are made somewhere and may be left for us to find ('donation'); NASA was asked to look for a 'big 3D printer' in the solar system, and shoot-downs failed over Iran but succeeded in the 1990s.anonymousanonymous former soldieranonymous witness → The Infographics Show (2024) → told it
The crash fits Company E, 52nd Infantry (LRRP), 1st Cavalry Division, at Phuoc Vinh near the Cambodian border in October-December 1968, and the dead teammates narrow to eight names on the unit's memorial list.Gerb found nothing in the records that contradicts the unit, area, dates or casualty pattern.analysis
