Sean Kirkpatrick

  • Who: AARO's founding director (2022 to late 2023), the Pentagon's official UAP investigator after Stratton's Task Force.
  • His position: no evidence of recovered non-human craft; AARO's 2024 report found no reverse-engineering program.
  • The feud: Stratton's 2026 book says he was 'compromised and controlled' by the Legacy Program; Kirkpatrick answers that there is no such program and that Congress's only classified file concerns Stratton's own team breaking national security law. A former Senate investigator says neither has shown evidence.

Physicist and intelligence official who was the founding director of the Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) from 2022 to late 2023. He co-wrote a 2023 paper with Avi Loeb on the physical limits of UAP, and AARO's 2024 historical report (Vol. 1), begun under him, found no empirical evidence of a reverse-engineering program. In October 2026 he called Jay Stratton's Legacy Program claim absurd and accused him of breaking national security law.
