National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)

National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)
  • On the record: Sentient flagged a Tic Tac-like object in 2021; the NRO advised the UAP Task Force; Grusch was its Task Force liaison.
  • The claims: anonymous retrieval witnesses and Gerb's model place it among the legacy program's administrators.

The US agency that builds and runs spy satellites, founded in 1961 and acknowledged only in 1992. An NRO document shows its Sentient system flagged a Tic Tac-shaped object in 2021, and it consulted the UAP Task Force. UAP Gerb places it at the administrator level of the legacy program, and an anonymous retrieval-team witness says his briefings carried NRO headers.

On the record

  • The 1995 carry-over funds scandal ($1.7 billion to $3.7 billion).
